Jobs Desired

Experienced geologist seeking positions in geology related fields, particularly as an environmental geologist.  With experience as a geologist, a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science (researched water discharge of a mine), I can be an asset to your company, and given the opportunity, I can prove to you that I would be the very best. I always take pride in any job that I do and would be honored to become a part of your team. I currently live in Milwaukee, but able to relocate.

My experience as a geologist has provided me with knowledge and experience in communicating observations and interpretations to make informative recommendations to clients. With extensive experience in mapping, soil and rock sampling and classification, planning and implementing drill locations, core logging, creating maps and cross sections drafted by hand and digitized into AutoCAD and 3D software, and entering data into various spreadsheets and databases, information was used to give advice to other departments and contractors, both verbally and through written reports to increase efficiency and productivity.

I am regularly described as thorough, organized, full of integrity and good work ethic, respected by others, and someone who can quickly gain cooperation. Not only do I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, but I am eager to learn, gaining knowledge at each of my positions, not only in the field but also through various training sessions and seminars, like those provided by FET.

Some of my skills/training include:

  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER Training
  • Geologic mapping, sampling and reporting
  • Standardizing procedures for sampling, mapping & core logging
  • Quality Control & Quality Assurance of Sampling Techniques
  • Geotechnical Mapping and Ground Conditions (Rock Mechanics)
  • AutoCAD, 3D software programs including MineSight and Vulcan
  • CSL (Courageous Safety Leadership)
  • Georeferencing, cross sections
  • Mentoring and Training
  • Planning drilling locations
  • PowerPoint Presentations

Most importantly, everything we do in our job is done safely and responsibly.  It is not just something we do to follow policies of the company but has become a culture and habit at work and at home.
