FET Strategic Planning Underway

A number of FET leaders and staff began outlining the next 3-year Strategic Plan at a day-long event on November 13th.  Key leaders were recently surveyed for their input on a number of questions.  The group also looked at input from the Member Survey that was completed in January 2017.  The current Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Tagline were also reviewed and tweaked – these will be presented to the FET Board for final review and approval at the December Board meeting.  Five strategies were identified. “It was a very good day and we accomplished a lot,” said FET volunteer and facilitator of the meeting, Rob Sherman.

The rest of the Plan will be developed in the coming months by the Strategic Planning Committee, and after Board review and approval, will take effect July 1, 2018 to coincide with our next fiscal year.  We’ll keep you posted as strategies and action plans are finalized.
