Register Today for the Vapor Intrusion Liability Seminar

Vapor Intrusion Liability Closure Requirements and Reopeners

All sites being investigated under the NR 700 WAC series need to assess the vapor intrusion pathway for volatile organic compounds (VOCs).  Vapor Intrusion Guidance was first published by WDNR in 2010, and updated in 2012.  In July of 2014, WDNR requested comments on their “Sub-slab Vapor Sampling Procedures” guidance which was recently developed by the WDNR’s Remediation & Redevelopment program to inform environmental consultants about methods for collection of vapor samples from below the foundation of residential and small buildings. The procedures and processes for investigating, evaluating, reporting and mitigating vapor risk are evolving and changing rapidly.  This timely seminar will provide valuable information on navigating through state versus federal regulations, Brownfields funding and case closures/re-openers.  It will also provide up to date practical strategies that can be used to assess and mitigate vapor intrusion risks.  WDNR representatives will be on hand to present and address questions.

The Southeast WI Chapter will host this program on Wednesday, September 10th, click here for an agenda: 9-10-14VaporIntrusion
