              Industrial Wastewater Course

              • Wednesdays April 17, 24 and May 1, 2024
              • The course is designed to familiarize operators and supervisors with the fundamentals of system operation, techniques utilized, and a working knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment systems; to prepare operators for the DNR’s operator examination; and to broaden knowledge and provide DNR wastewater treatment operator continuing education hours.

                  Lakefront Brewery has a strong focus on sustainability.  In 2021, the brewery was awarded a Green Professional Designation from the Green Masters Program with a score of 303 across 9 categories including energy, carbon/greenhouse gases, water, waste management, transportation, supply chain, education and outreach, and workforce and governance.  Please join us to learn more about the brewery’s green aspects of the business and enjoy some delicious beer while you are at it!

                  Tour includes 4 pours (8 oz. each) of Lakefront Brewery beer and a souvenir pint glass to take home with you.  Tour participants must be 21+ years old with a valid, unexpired ID.

                  WI CHMM Chapter Virtual Meeting

                  The WI CHMM Chapter is hosting a virtual meeting on CHMM recertification tips.  Jimmy Nguyen, from IHMM, will walk us through the process. The agenda will include: how to login to your MyIHMM page; starting your recertification application; earning “Certification Maintenance Points”; what items qualify for CMPs; how to enter recertification claims; and ethics.
