Submit Your Paper for the 2020 FET Environment Conference

Abstracts Due by February 7, 2020

Papers are now being accepted on a variety of topics that have a broad interest across many disciplines and do not include sales-oriented materials.  A recent survey of FET Members included the following Topics our members are interested in:

  • Complex EHS issues – how companies worked through them and worked with regulators
  • Recordkeeping requirements: what’s important to keep, for how long, paper vs electronic
  • Emerging contaminants (other than PFAS) which are potentially going to come up in the future
  • Waste determination – in-depth by a Wisconsin DNR speaker
  • Recycling
  • Tools for compliance
  • Industrial wastewater
  • Stormwater
  • Wastewater treatment – latest developments
  • Water – conserving actions including manufacturing
  • VOCs and HAPs – ideas for reducing these
  • Management systems
  • Climate Change
  • Maximizing relationships with regulators
  • SPCC
  • Reducing Phosphorus discharge
  • Tanks – What to expect during a tank inspection

Acceptance of an abstract by FET is considered a commitment by the author to present the paper at the 2020 Conference to be held on Tuesday, October 20th and Wednesday, October 21st.

Abstract Submittal Information: Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words; include your name, title, professional affiliations (i.e. CHMM, PE, etc.), company name, address, phone, fax and email address.  Please submit your abstract by email to
